Mossberg's MVP LC in 6.5 Creedmoor, serial MVP0012925, is a bolt-action chassis rifle that comes already set up for distance work. The 20-inch barrel is fluted over half its length and ends in a six-port muzzle device, and the bore is bright with strong rifling. On top sits a Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50mm scope, underneath a Caldwell bipod, and the FDE chassis is finished off with a Magpul grip and adjustable stock. Minor handling wear shows on the barrel and chassis; the supplier calls it very good overall.

That makes it a turnkey rifle for the Hill Country deer season, which in the North Zone around Bexar County runs November 7, 2026 to January 3, 2027, with a special late season January 4 to 17. A 6.5 Creedmoor bolt gun with a 24-power scope and a bipod suits shots at distance, and the only ammunition restriction for deer is the bar on rimfire. Read the Bexar County page in the Outdoor Annual for bag limits and antler rules.
