Pattern 1859 British Sergeant’s smooth-bore fusil. 30” Round .656 caliber smooth-bore barrel with good bore approximately 95% of old arsenal refinish blue. Lock is marked “1859” over “Enfield” and has traces of the large crown at the rear and a stronger crown over broad arrows to the front. Wood is very good with no cracks or chips, with a little missing to the right just below the rear sight. The action functions correctly and both sling swivels and the cleaning rod are present. The barrel is marked “N·S” over “HAR” on the left-side below the rear sight. This is a rarely seen British military Enfield.
