Post-WWII Springfield M1 Garand Rifle 30-06 ATX

A Springfield Armory M1 Garand in .30-06, serial number 4241214, made in December 1952 and still carrying its Springfield 24-inch barrel dated 12-52. The supplier describes an as-built Korean War era parts configuration: T105E1 rear sight, radius-cut operating rod, US2 bolt and a poppet valve gas cylinder lock screw marked P O. The stock carries no marks other than a serif P on the wrist. The finish is original factory, the wood shows light handling wear, and the bore is excellent with strong, shiny rifling. A BOYT 42 1907 sling, a CMP certificate of authenticity and the CMP shipping receipt come with it.

The paperwork is the point for a Texas collector: the CMP certificate and receipt document where the rifle came from, and the dated barrel and period parts tell the rest. It is a shooter as well, and .30-06 is a centerfire cartridge legal for Texas deer in the general season from November 7, 2026. Most owners will keep it for the range and the safe.
