Sako's 90 Hunter in .30-06 Springfield is a bolt-action hunting rifle with a 22-inch threaded barrel, a blued finish and a checkered wood stock. The specs list the condition as Used, while the supplier describes it as new and shows a stock photo; ask for photos of the actual rifle if the grade matters to you.

The .30-06 covers everything on a Texas deer lease, from Hill Country whitetails in the North Zone to the South Zone below U.S. Highway 90, where the general season runs two weeks longer, to January 17, 2027. The North Zone, including Bexar County, closes January 3 and then reopens for the special late season January 4 to 17. A 22-inch barrel keeps the rifle balanced in a blind or on sticks, and the checkered wood gives a firm grip. Confirm bag limits and antler rules in the Outdoor Annual for your county.
