A 1984 Browning BPS Field in 12 gauge, the pump-action upland gun with a straight-grip stock. The 22-inch barrel takes Invector chokes, and length of pull measures 14 inches to the factory recoil pad. Wear is very light and the supplier rates the gun very good overall. Serial number 34171PW152.

The short barrel and straight stock make this a quick-handling gun for walking up birds, and the Invector threads let you match the choke to the cover. In Texas it can also serve for deer, since any legal firearm may be used in the general season, which opens November 7, 2026 and runs to January 3, 2027 in the North Zone, with the South Zone below U.S. Highway 90 staying open to January 17, 2027. Bag limits and antler rules change at the county line, so read your county's page in the Outdoor Annual first.
