This L.C. Smith is an O-Grade hammerless side-by-side in 12 gauge with 30-inch Damascus barrels, a single selective trigger and extractors. The receiver keeps roughly 70 percent of its case colors, now faded. The stock is excellent with only very light marks, and the barrels show about 95 percent finish with excellent bores.

One point above all: the supplier considers this gun unsafe to shoot because of the Damascus barrels, so it is offered as a collector and display piece, not a working field gun. Do not plan any Texas hunting season around it. What you get is a well-kept example of a classic double gun with its wood, barrel finish and bores in high grade, suited to a collection of old shotguns or a wall in a Hill Country ranch house. Treat it as a historic object and keep live shells away from it.
